SquirrelMail
SquirrelMail is an IMAP proxy server. The web server needs to be accessed to the IMAP server hosting the email and to an SMTP server to send mails. It uses the IMAP to output valid HTML and uses plugin architecture to accommodate additional features. It is written in C and provides both stateful and stateless connections to the webmail client software.
