How to use Slide module on Odoo

Previously, we have been explained on various aspects of Odoo. Today we will be briefed on how to use Slide module on Odoo. This module is used to create presentations, videos, document, infographics, etc. It lets the user to upload files privately or publicly in various formats such as powerpoint, PDF, keynote or OpenDocument presentations. This module is meant to be used in business share slides and also provides the users with the ability to rate, comment or share the uploaded content.

Slide Module - Odoo

To begin working with the slide module, Go to the list of application to check whether the slide module has been installed or not. Then go Website admin and check the channel where your presentation is to be published

Create the category for your presentation by clicking the create option.

Next create a slide by providing all the details such as tags, url and other relevant details needed to be filled.

Give a tag name for the slide to be created and save the changes.

A new slide is created successfully with website URL.

If you remove the 127.0.0.1 part and restart the server you will be able to run it locally on port 8069.

We can’t automate, Employees can request single or mass allocation of leave by department wise or individual wise. Managers will approve or reject accordingly, this is the process.
