How to install Zoiper on CentOS 7

To install Zoiper on CentOS 7

Zoiper is an free, open source and multi-platform VOIP based soft-phone tool which is similar to skype and viber. Zoiper can be used in call center for making voice calls. This article will help you with the installation of Zoiper on CentOS 7

Installing Zoiper

Download the Zoiper package from its official website. You can install Zoiper by both graphical and command mode. Let us see the method to install it through commands. Open your terminal and goto the downloads folder as follows.

[root@localhost ~]# cd Downloads/
[root@localhost Downloads]# ls
Zoiper_3.3_Linux_Free_32Bit_64Bit.tar.gz

Extract the downloaded package using tar command.

[root@localhost Downloads]# tar -xzvf Zoiper_3.3_Linux_Free_32Bit_64Bit.tar.gz 
Zoiper_3.3_Linux_Free_32Bit.run
Zoiper_3.3_Linux_Free_64Bit.run
[root@localhost Downloads]# ls
Zoiper_3.3_Linux_Free_32Bit_64Bit.tar.gz  Zoiper_3.3_Linux_Free_32Bit.run  Zoiper_3.3_Linux_Free_64Bit.run

Once it is done, run the script file according to your architecture. Follow the given command.

[root@localhost Downloads]# ./Zoiper_3.3_Linux_Free_64Bit.run

Now the graphical installation wizard for Zoiper appears on your screen. Click on Next

ZOIPER_SETUP

Accept the License Agreement

Zoiper License Agreement 

Select the components and click on Next.

Select_components

Choose the location where you want to install Zoiper

install Zoiper

Zoiper is ready to be installed.

readt to install Zoiper

Zoiper_setup

Zoiper installation is finally complete. Click on Finish

Zoiper_installed

A prompt appears asking you to login.

Start_Zoiper

Zoiper is ready to be used.
