To Install Stacer On PopOS
System monitoring and optimizer apps are every essential for any Operating System and Stacer is one such app specifically created for optimizing Linux machines. It is a GUI based, open-sourced resource monitoring system and its dashboard displays CPU, Memory, Disk and System information. It is so simple to install Stacer On PopOS and this tutorial covers the ground on the same process.

Installation

Add a repository that is required for the installation of Stacer.

root@linuxhelp:~# add-apt-repository ppa:oguzhaninan/stacer

why you have used gdebi?

A

Gdebi is not default package manager for Ubuntu. But with that all required dependencies will also get installed along with that

Why E: Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (11: Resource temporarily unavailable)
E: Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/), is another process using it?

rm -rf /var/lib/dpkg/lock do this and continue

yes, you can use "gdebi" command for resolving the dependencies.

A

You can launch the Stacer application by simply typing its name into your terminal. Or, you can do it graphically through your activities search bar in which you can find and launch it.
