How to install qBittorrent and Transmission Bittorrent

To install qBittorrent and Transmission Bittorrent in ubuntu 15.10

In this tutorial we will learn how to install Bit-torrent clients qBittorrent and Transmission Bittorrent in Ubuntu.

qBittorrent

qBittorrent is a cross-platform client for the BitTorrent protocol which is an open-source software released under the GNU General Public License version 2 (GPLv2).

To install qbittorrent

Run the following command to add the qbittorrent package into your repository using PPA.

root@user1-linuxhelp:/home/user1# add-apt-repository ppa:qbittorrent-team/qbittorrent-stable 
 Packages for the stable series of qBittorrent
 More info: https://launchpad.net/~qbittorrent-team/+archive/ubuntu/qbittorrent-stable

Update the machine by running the following command.

Transmission BitTorrent client is a free software licensed under the terms of GNU General Public License (GNU GPL).

To install BitTorrent

Run the following command to add the transmission BitTorrent package into your repository via PPA.

root@user1-linuxhelp:/home/user1# add-apt-repository ppa:transmissionbt/ppa
