To install Pixeluvo in Ubuntu

Pixeluvo is an affordable image editor tool designed to transform the entire view of an image in Linux distributions. Users control the colour temperature, shadows, mid-tones and highlights to create perfect balance with the curves and levels adjustment options. It is featured with powerful color correction tools, realistic drawing tools and many other image enhancement filters. Installation of Pixeluvo in Ubuntu is explained in this article.

Installation of Pixeluvo

First download the installation package by using the below command.

root@linuxhelp:/home/user1# wget http://www.pixeluvo.com/downloads/pixeluvo_1.5.2-4_amd64.deb

Now run the below command to install the pixeluvo package.

Enter pixeluvo in the terminal to open the installed package.

root@linuxhelp:/home/user1# pixeluvo


Homepage of pixeluvo will appear on the screen. If you want to buy the software, just click on the Buy Now option.

Open the file and select any image file to edit.

Click on crop tool and select the image to crop.

Brush tool is available to edit the image in different size.

You can resize the image and canvas it with the following options.

Click on Layer option to change the image brightness, contrast, levels, etc.

Colors option is available to enhance the image.

Effects option allows you to change the image effects.

Finally save the image as shown below.

If you want to known the version, click on the About option.
