How to Install Manjaro 16.06 Xfce edition in Linux

Installation Of Manjaro 16.06 Xfce edition

Manjaro 16.06 is a user-friendly GNU/Linux distribution based on Arch Linux. It contains a set of own repositories. Installation of Manjaro 16.06 Xfce is explained in this article.

Requirements

1 GB of RAM
Processor 1 GHz (i3 or later versions)
Latest Graphics card and Monitor
HDD 20 GB minimum

To download Manjaro 16.06 xfce

Download Manjaro iso image using the following link,
For 64 bit Architecture
http://sourceforge.net/projects/manjarolinux/files/release/16.06-pre3/xfce/manjaro-xfce-16.06-pre3-x86_64.iso


For 32 bit Architecture
http://sourceforge.net/projects/manjarolinux/files/release/16.06-pre3/xfce/manjaro-xfce-16.06-pre3-i686.iso

After downloading the iso image of manjaro. Boot into a CD/DVD or flash drive. The welcome screen of Manjaro appears.

On the next page, choose the bootable options and click ' start manjaro linux' .

The welcome screen displays the various features of manjaro linux 16.06 xfce.

Now close the welcome page and click install to start the installation of manjaro 16.06 xfce.

Choose your desired language and click next.

Choose the current location and click next.

Select the desired keyboard options and click next

Now lets create partition, choose the partition type and click next. Here, we are doing manual partition.

Click ' new partition table'

Select the type of partition you need and click OK.

Now select free space and click create.

Now Enter the memory size and choose mount point, file system, partition type and click OK.

After all partitions are created. Click next.

Now enter the user credentials and other necessary information.

Next column shows the summary of what we have done. verify it and click next.

The manjaro 16.06 xfce installation starts.

Now the installation of manjaro 16.06 xfce is completed successfully. Select restart now and press quit option.

Then Manjaro 16.06 restarts and boots.

Now type the user name and password to Login into Manjaro.

Welcome screen of manjaro 16.06 xfce appears as shown below.

Select menu icon at the end of left corner. It will list the application available in manjaro 16.06 xfce.

Now open the xfce terminal by right clicking mouse.
