To install LiVES 2.6.0 on Ubuntu 16.04
LiVES application is a realtime video performance and non-linear editing tool. It edits and makes video without formats, frame sizes, or framerates issues. It is also used for live recording. Installation of Live video editor is explained in this article. In this tutorial am going to install Lives version 2.6.0.

Installing LiVES
The installation of LiVES requires the addition of its repository. It can be done by using the following command.
root@linuxhelp1:/home/user1# add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/apps

Once it is added, update the machine by invoking the following command.
