To Install FrostWire in Ubuntu

Frostwire is an open source P2P sharing software program used in Linux distributions. It is designed with rich features like Magnet Link, BitTorrent client, Wi-Fi sharing, iTunes, Internet Radio and Video/Audio Player support. It allows the users to quickly search, download and share large files & folders. Installation of FrostWire in Ubuntu is explained in this article.

Installation of FrostWire

First download the Debian repository with the following command.

root@linuxhelp:~# wget http://archive.getdeb.net/install_deb/getdeb-repository_0.1-1~getdeb1_all.deb

Then install the debian repository package.

Here you need to update the installed repository as shown below.

Now execute the following command to install the Frostwire package.

Open the FrostWire package in the Ubuntu dashboard.

Select your language and click on next option.

Mention the storage path and select ' Seed finished torrent download' .

Make a tick on check box in the Miscellaneous Settings. Click on next option.

Finally hit on finish option to accomplish the installation process.

Now its time to enjoy your favorite video, audios and other files through Frostwire.
