How to install Budgie Desktop Environment in Ubuntu

To install Budgie Desktop Environment on Ubuntu 16.04

Budgie Desktop is the Desktop Environment for Solus OS, it can also be applied for any linux distribution. Installation of Budgie Desktop in Ubuntu is explained in this guide.

To install Budgie

Before installing Budgie, add the repository by running the following command.

root@linuxhelp:~# add-apt-repository ppa:budgie-remix/ppa
 The official PPA for the distro budgie-remix - https://launchpad.net/budgie-remix
 More info: https://launchpad.net/~budgie-remix/+archive/ubuntu/ppa
Press [ENTER] to continue or ctrl-c to cancel adding it

Run the following command to install Budgie Desktop to your system.

Once the installation is completed, logout and then login back choosing the Budgie Desktop.

Now the Budgie Desktop appears in Ubuntu.

Click the Icon located in the top left corner. It will display all the files.

Select the icon to be displayed on panel, right click and choose pin to panel.

Right click on the screen and hit Open Terminal to work on the terminal.

To Change Desktop Wallpaper, right click and hit Change desktop background.

To Customize, click on icons located in the top left corner and then choose the Settings Icon.

Select “ Panel” to customize it.

Change the panel as desired, using the position interface.

To open settings, Choose the settings icon located at last.

To Shutdown the system.

To play games, click Games tab and choose the game.

Try installing the required packages for gnome-settings-daemon. It's seem's like you are missing the package

When I try to install Budgie I get info: budgie-desktop : Needs: gnome-settings-daemon but was not installed Needs: gnome-control-centerbut was not installed When I try to install those, I get the same errors. Any ideas?
