How to Create Users and Groups in Elastix

Once the Elastix is installed we can call the IP address of elastix through web browser to access the Web-UI and use the admin credentials to log in as admin initially. After logging in as admin we can create users and groups with different permissions to access the Elastix Web-UI.

To create Users and Groups

Open up your browser and call IP address of your elastix server and you can see login screen, enter the admin username and password.

After logging in as admin, you can now see the Elastix Dashboard.

In the menu panel, You can select the system menu and see the drop down men. To create a new user Goto System -> Users -> Users

Now Click “ Create New User”

You have to fill up all required fields to create a new user. Fill all the info and click " save" .

The new user is now created. Next, you can create a new group other than the default three groups in the software. To create a new group Goto System -> Users -> Group.

Click “ Create New Group”

After selecting the create new group option, you have to fill up all required fields to create new group.

As the administrator, you can also select to restrict Group Permissions in the groups that you have created.

To restrict permission via group filter the group according to the groups that have been specified.

Here we can see the options same listed in left side panel of Elastix user interface. Click “ +” and “ -“ symbols to show or hide the sub categories of the option that is selected and click check or uncheck the empty box to disable or enable the access.

transformix -tp TransformParameters.txt -out outputDirectory -def FileWithPoints.txt
The text file "FileWithPoints.txt" should be created with a certain structure. The first line should be "index" or "point", depending if the user supplies voxel indices or real world coordinates. The second line should be the number of points that should be transformed
