How To Create A Shortcut To Open The Terminal On CentOS 7.6

Shortcut Key :

Ctrl + Alt + T

Note:

By default, The above shortcut is used on CentOS 8 to open the terminal.

Process

Click on Applications --->System tools ---->Settings Snap1 Snap 2 Snap 3

**Search for Keyboard and Click on Keyboard ** Snap 4

Scroll Down until you see the + Sign and click on that. Snap 5 Snap 6 Provide any name for the shortcut and enter the command as follows Snap 7

Set the Shortcut by entering the keys and click Add to customize the shortcut. Snap 8 **The shortcut has been customized ** Snap 9

Enter the Shortcut key and result in the terminal Snap 10
