Introduction:

FortiGate firewalls are purpose-built security processers that enable the threat protection and performance for SSL-encrypted traffic by providing granular visibility of applications, users, and IoT devices. These appliances are designed to recognize issues quickly and intuitively. Configuration Process: Open the Fortigate dashboard on browser: SNAP1 Then goto Network and select Interfaces: SNAP2 Then, I am selecting Port2 for configuration, click edit and configure the Interface: SNAP3 SNAP4 SNAP5

Once completed, next I am selecting Port3 for configuration : SNAP6 SNAP7 SNAP8 SNAP9 After that, goto policy&Objects and select address: SNAP10 Next, Create a New address and configure that: SNAP11 SNAP12 SNAP13

Once completed configure the firewall policy: Create a new policy: SNAP14 Configure the policy: SNAP15 SNAP16 SNAP17 Once completed click OK: SNAP18 SNAP19 With this method the configuration of Interfaces, Address and Firewall Policy On fortigate comes to an end.
