Basic Configuration in Nethserver

Configuration in Nethserver

The basics configuration of Nethserver is explained in this tutorial with example.

Login Nethserver with the default username and password as provided by Nethserver community. The default user name and password of Nethserver as shown below.

Username root
Password Nethesis,1234

Click Next to change the Nethserver root password.

Set the host-name and domain for the nethserver
hostname and domain setup

Set the time and date for Nethserver.

Set the ssh port for Nethserver. By default, ssh port number is 22.

You can change the ssh port number for secure purpose.

Select the required usage statistics option and click next.
